— The start of the construction of the BCS was given in May 2021, — said the manager of the production and technical group, acting head of the project "Construction of the BCS at the Dengizkul field" Abdullo Ochilov. — Looking back, it can be noted that a huge amount of concrete and welding work was carried out, equipment for automating technological processes was installed, an air cooling cleaning system, gas pumping units, separators and other necessary equipment were installed. The implementation of this project will make it possible to maximize the development of reserves of residual natural gas at the Dengizkul field in conditions when the gas pressure collector energy ends before being supplied to the Mubarek gas processing plant.
At the moment, commissioning works on technological equipment are being carried out by the specialists of INGK company. According to the company's engineer Alexander Vysokov, a unit designed for combining and pumping high-sulfur gas was installed at the facility. Its design is based on a gas turbine plant manufactured by Baker Hughes, with a capacity of 16 megawatts. It is intended for the preparation and supply of gas fuel to the turbines of the power unit to ensure full and stable production, and will serve to increase the daily volume of natural gas by 6.5 million m3.
Comprehensive tests will take place in the near future, and training of personnel who will operate the equipment in the future is also being conducted in parallel.
The commissioning of the BCS at the Dengizkul field is planned for the end of this year and the "blue" fuel will begin to flow to the processing enterprises.
