As previously reported, Enter Engineering Group of Companies acts as a general contractor for the construction of another significant industrial and production facility - a chemical complex for the production of complex mineral fertilizers on the basis of Samarqandkimyo JSC, the leading investor of which is Ferkensco Management Limited.

Currently, 642 workers and specialists of our company are working on a shift basis at the construction site. 110 units of special equipment were also involved in the process. The building area is 180 hectares. The launch of the complex is planned until the end of 2023.

The expected annual production capacity of the enterprise will be: monoammonium phosphate (MAP) — 370 thousand tons; nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizers (NPK) — 540 thousand tons. The manufactured products will be used inside Uzbekistan, and export opportunities are also being considered, in particular to neighboring countries of the region and the states of Southeast Asia.

In addition to the construction of several reservoirs, nodes and other relevant linear facilities, the project provides for the parallel construction of a thermal power plant, the capacity of which will fully cover the energy needs of the complex.

At this stage of construction work, 75% of the excavation has been carried out, 34.83% of the concrete work has been completed. A number of figures indicate the scale of the project: the length of the technological overpasses will be more than 3 kilometers, the capacity of the ammonia unloading units will allow 8 railway tanks to be serviced simultaneously, 22 ammonia tanks of 200 m3 each and a warehouse for solid sulfur will make it possible to unload 6 gondola cars at a time, etc.

Various technological equipment has already been installed and is being supplied at the facility — ammonia tanks, an absorber, a water treatment plant, fans, a sulfur filter, a bag filter, etc.

It is also noteworthy that the raw materials for the complex will be supplied from local deposits — phosphorous concentrate from a new deposit located in the Navoi region, ammonia from JSC "Navoiazot", and additional volumes of sulfuric acid from Almalyk MMC JSC.

The creation of 1200 new jobs will certainly have a positive impact on the social sphere of the region.

Enter Engineering Group has extensive experience in the construction of large production facilities, and the implementation of the construction project of a chemical complex for the production of complex mineral fertilizers on the basis of Samarqandkimyo JSC will be a significant contribution to strengthening the industrial potential of Uzbekistan.
