Enter Engineering builds the future: A branch of the National Research University “Moscow Power Engineering Institute” (MPEI) in Tashkent

In 2018, the Uzbekistan government decided to establish a branch of the National Research University “Moscow Power Engineering Institute” in Tashkent. The main goal is training of highly qualified engineers and technicians for the local power industry. The General Contractor is Enter Engineering.

Our Company is responsible for the entire scope of construction, installation and finishing works under the Project. The Company’s specialists are currently involved in roofing, interior decoration and installation of windowsills in the academic building. Glazed tile laying works have begun in the Institute Laboratory. In the dormitory the installation of floor slabs between the second and third floors and bricklaying of the partitions are in progress. Apart from that, the swimming pool is being reinforced with re-bars and the concrete will be poured upon completion thereof. Workers are installing the floor slabs between the first and second floors in the Institute’s Hotel.

623 employees and 25 units of the Company’s construction equipment are involved in constructing the institute. Total building area is 10,800 m2. The new university will consist of an academic building for 1,200 students, a laboratory for experiments and scientific researches, a dormitory for 446 beds, and a hotel to accommodate foreign visitors. A checkpoint for security guards will be erected at the entrance of the institute for ensuring safety of students.

A branch of “Moscow Power Engineering Institute” will be opened in accordance with Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s Resolution No. PP-4350 of July 4, 2019 “On establishing a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “National Research University” MPEI” in Tashkent. The study program at the university will meet the Federal Educational Standards of Russia.
